Craig Wood named director of housing and property services at Rural Stirling
Rural Stirling Housing Association (RSHA) has appointed Craig Wood as its new director of housing and property services.
Mr Wood joins RSHA from Trust Housing Association in Edinburgh where he has been development manager for just over three years
Prior to that, he spent ten years working in housing for the City of Edinburgh Council.
Mr Wood has had wide experience of the functions of local government and hopes this knowledge will be of benefit to tenants. Craig also has qualifications to degree level in town planning and urban design.
Donna Birrell, chief executive, said: “Craig brings huge experience of the planning and delivery of new build housing and investment projects to his new role. Meeting the high expectations of our tenants in delivering quality housing is a vital part of our work. I am sure Craig will make a great contribution to our team.”
Craig Wood added: “I am very much looking forward to joining Rural Stirling Housing Association. I know very well the good work it does serving many communities over a wide geographical area. I’m delighted to be joining a team of housing professionals which always put tenants first.”
Mr Wood will take up his post on May 24.
