Craigowl Communities, part of the Hillcrest Group, has been shortlisted in the Care and Support Organisation category at the 24housing Awards.

The awards are a national competition designed to recognise the best in the housing and support sector.

Lynn Cunningham, Craigowl Communities’ managing director, said it was “just fantastic” to be recognised on a national level.

She added: “The majority of our work takes place in Dundee so it feels like we are putting the city on the map as well as our achievements.

“Our submission focussed on the work we do to foster talent by getting people back in to work, gain qualifications and develop new skills. Our teams are committed to improving the circumstances of the people they work with so I’m delighted that their hard work has been recognised.”

The winner will be announced at an awards ceremony on 6 October 2016.
