The Crisis Help-to-Rent Programme is open to statutory and voluntary services working with people not normally eligible for help from their council.

Projects can apply for sums of up to £30k per year for two years.

The overall aim of the funding programme will be to work in partnership with organisations to support individuals who are homeless or vulnerably housed to access sustainable accommodation. Crisis are inviting registered charities, community groups, statutory agencies and registered social housing providers throughout England, Scotland and Wales to apply for this exciting new opportunity. Funding is available for two years with contracts expected to run from 1 October 2016 - 30 September 2018.

Projects can apply for up to £30,000 per year for the two years.

The deadline for expressions of interest is August 1, with funding for successful applicants to commence on October 1. The programme aims to fund services that will be champions of best practice and work with Crisis to promote their models across the UK.

The programme is particularly aimed at projects focussing on sharing in the private rented or social housing sectors, as well as social lettings agencies, housing association partnerships and projects to tackle rural homelessness. The programme will also fund at least one service in both Scotland and Wales.

Projects can express their interest through a simple online system, with more detailed applications invited in the second stage.
