Cunninghame celebrates Scottish Apprenticeship Week

As part of Scottish Apprenticeship Week 2025, Cunninghame Housing Association hosted a special lunch on Friday afternoon to celebrate its apprentices.
This event acknowledged their hard work, and allowed them to hear about each other’s experiences, and discuss their journeys so far.
The Association’s apprentices, including those in administration, trades, and technical roles, sat down with some of the Association’s executive management team to share insights into their learning, the challenges they’ve overcome, and the skills they’ve developed along the way.
Cunninghame Housing Association said it was delighted to have Chloe (apprentice admin assistant), Ryan (apprentice electrician) and Kyle (apprentice joiner) join it for the occasion with their supervisors. They each shared their experiences, from learning new skills to gaining confidence in their roles, and how their apprenticeships are shaping their careers.
Jacqueline Cameron, chief executive, expressed her appreciation for the apprentices’ contributions and reaffirmed CHA’s commitment to supporting apprenticeships as a pathway to professional success.
She said: “Scottish Apprenticeship Week is all about celebrating apprentices and the positive impact they make. CHA are proud to play our part in helping people learn, grow, and succeed in their chosen careers. A huge thank you to all our apprentices for their dedication and enthusiasm. We look forward to continuing to support you on your journey!”
