CVHA hosts successful Scottish Housing Day event

Clyde Valley Housing Association (CVHA) was delighted to welcome customers to its offices in support of Scottish Housing Day.

The event, centred around the theme ‘Homes for Life’, provided an excellent platform for meaningful discussions that will directly influence Clyde Valley’s new Corporate Strategy, set to launch in 2025.

Customers contributed valuable feedback and insights throughout the event, helping shape the future of Clyde Valley’s housing services. The theme “Homes for Life” aligned perfectly with its recent conference topic, “Lifetime Homes,” reinforcing commitment to creating sustainable, long-term living solutions for communities.

Chief executive Carron Garmory said: “Scottish Housing Day has given us an incredible opportunity to explore what ‘Homes for Life’ means to our customers and the wider community. It was inspiring to share our future plans and hear from our customers about how we can work together to ensure our homes remain fit for the future.”

Fin Smith, customer service director, added: “This event really showcased the strength of the partnership between Clyde Valley and our customers, we have got some amazing insights and ideas from our customers. Their input is invaluable as we continue to evolve and develop and will really help us shape our new strategy ensuring the customer remains at the heart of what we do.”

The session concluded with a bus tour, giving customers a firsthand look at some of Clyde Valley’s current property types in the Lanarkshire area.
