Dandara begins work on homes in East Lothian village
Housebuilder Dandara has officially begun construction at The Pines, its new development of homes in Wallyford, East Lothian.
Located on Futures Drive, the range of 87 two, three, four and five-bedroom homes will be situated on former farmland, just a 10-minute car ride to the coast. The properties will feature high-specification kitchens with appliances and include PV panels as standard.
Tony Williamson, sales director for Dandara East Scotland, said: “We are thrilled to announce that we have broken ground at The Pines, providing the convenience of modern living in picturesque Wallyford.
“East Lothian has quickly become one of the most sought-after regions of Scotland to live, thanks to its proximity to Edinburgh and the coast. Over the last few years, Wallyford specifically has seen a boost in popularity, both as a commuter hub and a quaint village in its own right*. The Pines is the perfect option for both commuters and locals looking for a change of scenery.”
Stuart Dallas, head of construction for Dandara Scotland, added: “This collection of stylish new homes provides the best of coastal living with a sustainability focus. With PV panels as standard on each home, buyers can reduce their carbon footprint as well as their energy bills. The wide range of home styles available also means there is something for everyone at The Pines, whether you’re a first-time buyer wanting to move onto the property ladder or a large family looking for more space by the coast.”
