Daryl McIntosh named new CEO at SHARE
Housing sector training provider SHARE has appointed a new CEO, signalling a goal that the organisation intends to develop into a greater, more successful organisation that can leave a lasting impact on all those operating within the housing sector.
Daryl McIntosh who joins the registered charity in September will see him succeed Robert Tamburrini who joined SHARE in November 2021, as an interim director.
Already a recognised figure in the property sector, Daryl brings with him immeasurable knowledge of the housing industry along with a wealth of leadership experience and a passion for positive change.
“I am delighted to be joining SHARE at what is a prominent time for those involved in all areas of the housing sector considering the burden on the Scottish Government who are feeling increasing pressure to ensure there are sufficient affordable homes for everyone with these homes being energy efficient and meeting a certain standard,” he said.
“The smooth functioning of any housing sector is largely reliant upon the individuals working in it having the appropriate skills and tools. The importance of training and development for industry outcomes must therefore not be underestimated. I am looking forward to building on SHARE’s solid foundations and working with the dedicated team and Board to reaffirm its status as the definitive training provider for all housing and property professionals.”
Lisa Scott, chair of the executive board of SHARE, added: “The board and I would like to announce that Daryl McIntosh is the newly appointed CEO for SHARE and we are all looking forward to working alongside him. I would also like to thank Robert Tamburrini for his support during his time as the interim director.”
