DGHP staff recognised at awards ceremony
Staff from Dumfries and Galloway Housing Partnership (DGHP) have been congratulated for their hard work and achievements at an annual awards ceremony in Dumfries.
DGHP chairman, Robert Higgins of Stranraer, presented staff from across Dumfries and Galloway with certificates in recognition of their work.
Chief executive of DGHP, Zoe Forster, said: “Our annual awards ceremony is about recognising the hard work and achievements of our staff throughout the year, in a wide range of learning and training.
“I’d like to congratulate all of our staff on their successes and commitment to training this year and it’s been good to see such a broad range of topics covered from across the organisation
“Everyone has invested in themselves and improved their competency and we really value our staff at DGHP – by investing in our staff we are investing in the future of DGHP and ensuring better services for our tenants.”
DGHP’s chairman, Robert Higgins, added: “It’s wonderful to see so many of our staff undertaking training and achieving such a broad range of qualifications – almost 25% of the workforce are picking up awards this year.
“I’d like to thank everyone for their commitment and hard work throughout the year, not only for the benefit of themselves but that of the company and our tenants across Dumfries and Galloway.”
Awards were handed out for various achievements and courses including: the Institute of Customer Services (ICS) FirstImpressions; ICS Accredited FirstImpressions trainer; SVQ Level 3 Social Services and Health Care; Foundation in Factoring certificate; Site Management Safety Training Scheme (SMSTS); CIH Level 4 Certificate in Housing; CIH Level 4 Diploma in Housing Practice; City and Guilds Level 3 Certificate in Domestic Energy Assessor (DEA); Level 2 VRQ Gas Safety Awareness in Social Housing; Legionella landlord training course; Consultation Institute Certificate in Professional Development.
In addition an award from Tenant Participation Advisory Service (TPAS) Scotland was handed to the Communities and Communications team for ‘Young Tenant Involvement Champion
Staff from all over the region picked up awards at the ceremony.
