Diane Cooper to leave SFHA for new role at ACOSVO
The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations’ head of business development, Diane Cooper, is to leave the SFHA after more than 10 years with the federation.
Ms Cooper is joining the Association of Chief Officers of Scottish Voluntary Organisations (ACOSVO), where she will take up the leadership role of sustainability manager.
Since joining the SFHA in 2007, Ms Cooper has made a significant contribution towards the leadership and success of the organisation with an impressive track record of developing business, managing operations, and improving organisational growth.
Ms Cooper has strengthened the organisation through building strategic alliances, developing membership services and led many award-winning initiatives such as the SFHA Apprentice Challenge.
Diane Cooper said: “After more than a decade with the SFHA, I am privileged to have worked for the federation and feel very proud of the work I have been involved in, all of which was supported by SFHA staff, board directors, members, and partners.
“I wish the SFHA, and the sector, all the best for the future.”
SFHA chief executive, Sally Thomas, said: “Diane has made a significant contribution towards the success of the SFHA during her time with the federation and will be missed by staff, board and members.
“Diane’s new post gives her a great opportunity in a well-respected and thriving third-sector membership organisation so provides the perfect combination of a new challenge with a degree of familiarity which will enable her to make the best and most effective use of her expertise and experience.
“On behalf of the SFHA and our board directors, I would like to wish Diane all the very best for the future.”
