DM Hall sells Carfin site for Clyde Valley Housing Association development
A 5.96-acre site within the village of Carfin in Lanarkshire has been sold to Wilson Developments for an undisclosed sum.
The developer has secured planning consent to build 89 flats and terraced housing, which will be acquired upon completion by Clyde Valley Housing Association.
Chartered surveyor DM Hall acted jointly with CBRE on behalf of The Albert Trust on the sale.
Graeme Todd, a partner in the Glasgow office of DM Hall, who oversaw the sale transaction, said: “marketing of this site began last summer and following a closing date for the receipt of offers, a deal has just now been concluded with Wilson Developments.
“This site had previous planning consent, now lapsed, for the development of 55 residential dwellings. We were confident, however, that a new residential development application would be considered by North Lanarkshire Council.
“The successful bid has secured planning consent for a development of flats and terraced housing, to comprise 89 units in total which will be acquired upon completion by Clyde Valley Housing Association.”
