The Association has been working towards the ‘Assessment’ level since 2013 when it first achieved recognition for being ‘Committed to Excellence’.

The assessment involved a full day scrutiny visit by two qualified Assessors from Quality Scotland and covered all aspects of the Association’s business areas.

Quality Scotland is the official home of the EFQM Excellence Model in Scotland. As a National Partner of EFQM, it is the only organisation in Scotland licensed to assist and enable other organisations to implement the EFQM Excellence Model.

The EFQM Excellence Model is a business excellence framework for organisational management systems that is designed to help businesses become more efficient and competitive. (EFQM was formerly known as the European Foundation for Quality Management).
