Dunbritton wins prestigious European Business Award
Management and staff at Dunbritton Housing Association (DHA) are celebrating after winning one of Scotland’s most prestigious business awards at Quality Scotland’s 25th Anniversary Awards ceremony held at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre last week.
The Association gained a coveted ‘Committed to Excellence’ 2 Star award at Quality Scotland’s Scottish Awards for Business Excellence after demonstrating its continuing focus on business improvement and ensuring that all areas of the organisation builds on its strengths to attain even higher levels of excellence throughout its entire operation.
Offering her congratulations to Dunbritton, Claire Ford, chief executive officer, Quality Scotland said: “The achievement of Committed to Excellence is a clear demonstration of an organisations drive and desire to achieve sustainable business excellence and truly embed the concepts of excellence. Congratulations on this European level of recognition and all the hard work and effort that has gone in to achieving it.”
Dunbritton achieved the plaudits at the 25th Anniversary of the Scottish Awards for Business Excellence, where they were joined by over three hundred guests across the private, public and third sectors, to celebrate Scotland’s outstanding achievements in the field of business excellence.
Sephton MacQuire, chair of the board of management, said: “I’d like to thank everyone at Dunbritton for their efforts. Director Morven Short expressed delight at the staff team’s achievement: “Everyone has worked hard at identifying and delivering on areas for improvement across all our service areas and this Award confirms that we are ‘getting it right’.”
