Dundee waterfront office and residential plans outlined
Detailed plans have been submitted for a new office block and flats development at Dundee Waterfront.
The development at Site 6 would be situated next to Agnes Husband House, home of Social Security Scotland, and across the road from the V&A Dundee.
Previously presented as a hotel development, the proposals will now provide a new “Grade A” office development, residential units and associated vehicular access and car parking spaces.
The plans have been drafted by Cooper Cromar on behalf of Robertson Construction.
The architects wrote: “Site 6 commands a prominent location and will be highly visible from a large number of key locations in and around the waterfront area.
“The proposed buildings should provide bold landmark designs that will create a strong identity for the Waterfront and address the approaching vistas, which in turn will aid wayfinding within this new area of the city centre.”
The project team also includes project manager Ryden, MEP and fire engineer Atelier Ten and structural & civil engineers Goodson Associates.
