“Derrick’s knowledge and experience in delivering high quality services will be vital in the coming years and I look forward to continuing to work with him to achieve the HSCP’s strategic mission and ensure positive outcomes for our residents.”

Jane Grant, chief executive, NHS Greater Glasgow and Clyde, added: “Derrick has significant experience and a strong track record in community health and social care and I look forward to continuing to work collaboratively with him to deliver services that meet the needs of the people of East Dunbartonshire.”

Derrick Pearce will take up the post with immediate effect.
