East Lothian Council launches private sector landlord survey
East Lothian Council has launched a survey about the operation of the private rented sector and its role in meeting housing need locally.
The survey will help the council, and partners, to understand more about the type, condition and costs of private rented accommodation; as well as the needs of tenants who use the sector.
Survey results will help to identify how local landlords can be supported to deliver good quality, well-managed homes across East Lothian. The findings will be used to inform the next Local Housing Strategy.
To make sure that the results are accurate, the council needs to hear from private landlords operating across East Lothian. A separate survey will be held in July 2022 to gather the views of private sector tenants. All responses will be confidential and anonymous.
The survey will close on 22 July 2022 and can be completed online.
