Easthall Park celebrates 25th anniversary year with highest ever response to rent consultation
Easthall Park Housing Co-operative’s management committee has approved a rent increase of 3.2% after a rent consultation exercise received the highest ever response.
At their meeting on January 31, committee were delighted to hear that almost 1 in 5 tenants (17.58%) had responded to the rent consultation exercise.
At the same time the Co-operative’s 25th Anniversary Report was launched on its website. This report is a photographic timeline from 1992 – 2017 and even looks at what the future may hold along with details of the Co-operative’s current performance and Value for Money Scorecard.
It is hoped that tenants, service users and other interested parties will enjoy looking back on the past, reviewing the Co-operative’s performance now and having a small glimpse of what may be in the future.
All tenants will receive a hard copy of this report in the post.
Mary Davidson, chairperson of Easthall Park, said: “Over the past 25 years, we have worked hard to engage and involve local people in the area and we wish to mark the end of our anniversary year with this special report.
“The committee are particularly pleased with the support we receive from tenants and having almost 1 in 5 tenants responding to our rent consultation shows how engaged our residents are in our work and the future of Easthall Park.”
