Easthall Park Housing Co-operative to stay independent
Easthall Park Housing Co-operative will remain as an independent organisation following a strategic review of its business.
The outcome of the review, which included an independent Strategic Options Appraisal by Arneil Johnston consultants, was for Easthall Park to ‘Stay Independent’, which is seen to be the best delivery model for its tenants, communities and the business.
The Co-operative’s chairperson, Paul Waddell, said: “We are delighted with the outcome of the options appraisal and for Co-operative to stay independent, it allows us to move forward and continue to excel and make a difference in our work and services to our tenants and others. It was a very robust process through Arneil Johnston and the Management Committee’s decision recognises our work, achievements and financial viability as a community based housing organisation.”
Donna Milton, managing director of Arneil Johnston, added: ‘‘We were pleased to support Easthall Park in carrying out a strategic option appraisal, enabling an informed decision on the best future form to serve the needs of tenants, customers and the Easthall Park Community. We wish the Coop continued success as an independent and community based social landlord.”
