Easthall Park named Investors in People Platinum Employer of the Year finalist
Easthall Park Housing Co-operative has been selected as a finalist for Platinum Employer of the Year 2017 (2 – 49 staff category) meaning it is viewed as one of the top ten organisations in the UK to have achieved the Investors in People (IIP) Platinum Award.
To identify Easthall Park’s position as a top ten employer, IIP has taken numerous pieces of data from Investors in People assessment and worked with an experienced data analyst.
The Co-operative will find out its overall position within the top ten at an awards ceremony to be held on November 23 in London.
Mary Davidson, chairperson of Easthall Park, said: “We thought achieving Investors in People Platinum Award was a remarkable achievement but now to be recognised as one of the top ten employers in the UK with this award shows how much we value our people. Whatever our position in the final ranking, reaching this stage is a fantastic achievement for the organisation and for everyone who contributes to our work.”
Director John McMorrow added: “Receiving Investors in People Platinum Award was recognition of how the organisation leads and inspires people, demonstrates that we live the organisations values and behaviours whilst empowering and involving people. To have our overall assessment tested against other organisations that have the Platinum Award and be selected as a finalist as one of the top ten organisations in the UK is special.
“It is also good to see that there are three other Scottish RSLs being recognised as top performers in their own category (Cunninghame, Govan and GHA) and we hope that they all are successful on the night.”
