EHRA represents seven housing associations that work together in Greater Easterhouse to share training, organise community events and hustings, share best practice and provide support for committee members and staff.

A total of £304 was raised on the night and Calvay Housing Association were declared winners.

Linda Cameron, chairperson of EHRA, said: “We are disappointed that in such a wealthy country, members of our community are driven to foodbanks for basic essentials. North East Foodbank is a terrific organisation providing help and support to people who have run into a bit of bad luck. We wish them every success in their vital work”.
