Candidates from the political parties standing in Wards 18, 20 and 21 were invited to the local election hustings event. All three wards cover the Greater Easterhouse area. This event was held in person due to the relaxation of COVID restrictions.

The EHRA hustings provided an opportunity to pose questions to Conservative and Unionist, Labour, Scottish Greens, Scottish National Party, TUSC, ALBA and Libertarian Party candidates.

Brian Hutcheson, independent chair, introduced candidates to the busy event. The two-hour hustings focused on questions on support for community groups, working with the community, parking issues, cleansing and the environment.

Brian Hutcheson thanked the audience for attending and encouraged everyone to vote on May 5.
