The two categories the Association is up for are:

• Housing Association of the Year
• Affordable Housing Development of the Year (Small, Social Rent) - Station Court, Peebles

The Association said: “All at Eildon were delighted to hear the news as they are up against some tough competition for the Housing Association of the Year Award against the best Housing Associations in Scotland.

“There are five finalists in the Affordable Housing Development of the Year (Small, Social Rent) category and Eildon wishes everyone the best of luck on the day.”

Eildon won’t know the outcome until October 29 when all finalists will be announced.

It added: “So, until then, work continues delivering our strategy, focussing on inclusive growth, and pushing forward with our ambitious new development programme, which will bring more affordable housing to the people of the Scottish Borders, as well as improving our existing homes and services.”
