Eildon HA chairman steps down after four years at the helm
The chairman of Eildon Housing Association has stepped down at its 45th AGM after four years at the helm of the association.
Trevor Burrows will be succeeded in the role by the association’s former vice chairman Dave Alexander.
Mr Burrows, who ends a four-year term as chairman, gave the meeting an overview of the achievements of the year, highlighting the continued financial strength of the association and the progress made on its new build programme.
He added that Eildon is in the midst of its largest ever growth period and is working to a highly ambitious business strategy.
Mr Burrows also congratulated his successor, who he said brought with him a wealth of knowledge and experience and would be a “perfect fit” to take over the helm.
Three new members were appointed to the Eildon Board for the year ago, which will immediately start work on developing a new five-year Strategy for Eildon.
Mr Alexander said: “Following in Trevor’s footsteps as Chairman is a tall order. He has led Eildon’s Board for four years with dedication, skill and good humour.
“Being asked to take over the role of chairing Eildon’s Board through an exciting and challenging period of growth is an honour and a privilege.”
