Eildon welcomes new board members
Eildon Housing Association welcomed two new board members at its 42nd Annual General Meeting.
Re-elected chairman Trevor Burrows, congratulated Kathleen Henderson and Allan Lundmark on their election to the Board.
Mrs Henderson, formally the lead occupational therapist at NHS Borders, brings with her a wealth of care related experience and has previously served as an influential member of the Borders Care & Repair Advisory Group.
Mr Lundmark is known to many in the housing world and recently retired from his post as director of planning at Homes for Scotland, where he has been influential in helping to shape housing policy. Allan has recently been serving as a co-opted member on the Eildon board since March.
Trevor Burrows noted that the new appointments bolster an already strong and stable board with a good mix of skills and experience.
The AGM also provided an opportunity to celebrate 10 years of Eildon successfully operating the Borders Care & Repair service, and a chance for attendees to consider the plans it has set out for the future in its new 5 Year Strategy.
