The Scottish Federation of Housing Associations (SFHA) has appointed Elaine Mulgrew as its new head of finance and corporate services.

Elaine is a CIMA qualified accountant and also has a Diploma in Business from Strathclyde Business School. She has extensive experience of working in the public sector and charity sector and has also worked in the private sector and private practice.

Elaine has held senior management positions for 15 years. She is experienced in business partnering, reporting and providing support to operational staff for financial management and business growth as well as the management of other operational or commercial services.

She was director of finance, corporate and commercial services at Glasgow East Regeneration Agency from 2003–2011 and director of finance and corporate services at Scottish Refugee Council in 2014.

Elaine’s remit at SFHA includes responsibility for ensuring the support services of finance, human resources, IT and office management run smoothly, enabling the organisation to deliver services and support to its members.
