Elderpark Housing supplies new strips to local football club
Elderpark Housing Association has provided brand new football strips to Elderpark Football Club.
The team of young footballers in Govan were supplied with a new strip bearing the Elderpark Housing name, as the Association sponsored the club for another year.
The new strip was showcased for the first time this week as the team played a winning match totalling at 9-4.
The club comprised of boys all under 15 years old play in the Paisley and Johnstone District Youth Football League. The team play their home matches at the Glasgow Club Drumyone.
Naturally, the players grow out of their strips quickly and as the kit is expensive, it can be challenging to keep the team looking their best. Yet, Elderkpark Housing has remedied this problem by providing the new strips which proudly display their sponsor’s logo.
Eddie McGroarty, team manager, said: “The boys are delighted with their new strip. They are proud to show their connection to Elderpark Housing.”
Jim Fraser of Elderpark Housing added: “We’re delighted to have helped out the Elderpark boys as their strip sponsor for another year. They are a talented and enthusiastic team and we wish them well.”
