‘Excellent’ rating for North Ayrshire temporary furnished housing support service
A housing support service in North Ayrshire has been given top marks in an inspection by the Care Inspectorate.
It is the second inspection in a row where inspectors graded North Ayrshire Council’s temporary furnished housing support service as ‘excellent’.
Following the most recent inspection, inspectors noted: “We found during our inspection that this section of North Ayrshire Housing Services performs at a very high level in all areas. In particular, we noted a strong focus upon service user involvement and satisfaction with regard to service provision.
“The level and extent to which service users were supported went above and beyond that provided by many services. Service users were grateful of and complementary about the care and support they received at a very difficult time in their lives.”
A spokesperson for the Care Inspectorate said: “Everyone in Scotland has the right to good quality, compassionate care which meets their needs and respects their rights.
“The majority of care services in Scotland perform well, and where we encounter excellent services, it is vital we share good practice so that all care services in Scotland continue to improve and reach the high standards we expect.
“There is no room for complacency, and we will continue to work with this service to ensure high standards are maintained.
