Fairfield shows support for local nursery
Fairfield Housing Co-operative has donated funds to the local Crieff Road nursery which will allow for the purchase of specialist bikes to help train children attending the nursery along with other specialist learning equipment.
Rena Crichton, Fairfield’s chair, and Susan Bell, corporate manager, were given a tour of the school by centre leader Steve Rivers and spent some time with some budding cyclists.
Grant Ager, Fairfield’s chief executive, said: “The nursery located in Fairfield has been an invaluable asset for local people in Perth from the dark days 30 years ago when we started the regeneration of the area to the stable community of present day. It is a very innovative school and we are always delighted to support their work.”
