What We Do
Community Events
Annual fun day in Elder Park. Annual burns night for local pensioners. Easter egg hunts for local children. Halloween night. Community fun runs. Sponsorship of Elderpark Youth Football Club 2005’s Provide donations to support a range of local projects and initiatives 
Community Centre
Impact Arts run a highly successful and well attended arts and crafts class called the Craft Café for local pensioners which is run three days a week and is free to all who attend. Our youth partners at Aberlour and GYIP provide free youth clubs three nights a week for young people. Free community lunch each Saturday provided by our partners at Urban Roots. Free weekly drama and performance class provided by Impact Arts for 14-19 year olds. 
Community Gardens
Moogety Garden- the Association works with Urban Roots to provide free gardening sessions and space for residents to grow their own food. Ibrox Flower Field- the Association funds a session worker to provide free gardening sessions and food nutrition help and advice, the garden is also used as a teaching facility by Ibrox Primary school Moogety Food Hub – where local residents can access free cookery lessons, food hygiene and healthy eating advice Community Support
Free benefit and debt advocacy service. Free Helpline service for elderly and disabled people to help with tasks around the home. Free uplift and disposal of large and bulky items (furniture, white goods). Flooring and blind packages and starter packs for new tenants. Decoration vouchers for new tenants. We work with Social work to provide disability adaptations that allow people to stay in their home and out of care 
Community Benefit
Whenever the Association awards a contract we ask the company who are awarded the contract to provide something of benefit to the local community, this can range from employing local people for
Large value contracts to provide some service or equipment to local residents or groups.
As part of our bathroom upgrade program two local youngsters were offered apprenticeships. As part of our close cleaning contract four vulnerable people had their house cleaned. As part of our paintwork contract four vulnerable people had decoration done in their homes. Our gardening contractor provided materials that enabled our community garden to build a decking area and raised flower beds. Our Gas Central Heating contractor provided a considerable sum of money for the Association to donate to local good causes By signing up to Community Jobs Fund Scotland we have been able to employ two local people as Estate Management Assistants As you can see Housing Association’s are much more than housing providers and are at the very heart of local communities, we are often the first point of contact and service provider for some of Scotland’s most vulnerable people and a driving force in building communities.
