First Minister visits Trust Housing Association tenants in Edinburgh
Tenants and staff at Trust Housing Association’s sheltered housing development in Stockbridge, Edinburgh were delighted to receive a visit from First Minister Nicola Sturgeon and the SNP’s Alison Dickie.
There was a real buzz in the air as tenants waited patiently for their chance to ask questions, share their views about the local community and generally have a natter with the politicians.
Rhona McLeod, CEO at Trust, said: “We always welcome the chance to share what we do with guests to the development. We know that our housing improves lives and promotes independence and our Stockbridge tenants really highlight this. They are such an active group and were more than happy to have tea and cakes with the First Minister.”
