Hanover’s Morris Court in Dalry has been awarded a clean sweep of five stars in every area after its recent inspection by the Care Inspectorate.

The inspection took place over two dates in May and inspectors spoke to residents, relatives and staff at the very sheltered housing development.

A report from the watchdog highlighted that staff were motivated and encouraged choice and independence.

Comments from residents included:

“I couldn’t be better looked after. It’s a lovely place here with lovely gardens.”

“I’m pleased with the way my mother is looked after – she’s happy and safe in her environment.”

“I enjoy my work as a support worker with Hanover, I feel that my employer gives me every opportunity for on-the-job training.”

The five-star (‘very good’) rating was given for quality of care and support, quality of management and leadership and quality of staffing.
