Forth HA appoints Sharon Brady-Wardrope as permanent director
Forth Housing Association has elevated Sharon Brady-Wardrope to the permanent position of director.
Ms Brady-Wardrope first joined the association in September 2022 as interim director and has worked with the committee and staff team to bring about change. She brings with her a substantial track record in senior management, innovation and customer service in the housing sector.
Following the recruitment exercise supported by EVH, the committee panel made a unanimous decision to appoint Ms Brady-Wardrope to the position. It was agreed that she had all the necessary skills and attributes for the position and had demonstrated the ability to take forward the vision and values of Forth Housing Association.
Ms Brady-Wardrope said: “I have thoroughly enjoyed my time working at Forth over the last year and getting to know our people.
“I know that there have been many changes over the year as we continued to grow and develop, and I know that has been challenging for everyone however I am immensely grateful for the hard work from our staff and our management committee and for their commitment to our improvement process.
“We have achieved so much in this past year, and I am delighted to be able to continue on our journey together into a new phase for Forth.”
Ann Dickson, chair of Forth Housing Association’s committee and the interview panel, added: “We are delighted to welcome Sharon as our permanent director. Sharon has demonstrated she has the skills, abilities, and commitment to take on this role.
