Free advice on offer for Stirling Council tenants
Stirling Council’s Housing Service is hosting a Housing Open Day for tenants tomorrow.
At the Albert Halls in Stirling between 10am and 2pm, officers will provide advice, information and sources of support with staff from repairs, benefits, income maximisation, housing options and housing management, as well as the fuel poverty officer.
Other organisations in attendance will include the Bell Group, Stirling Tenants Assembly, materials supplier Jewson’s Partnership Solution and the council’s main energy supplier Utilita.
Officers can provide information about the council’s solar panel installation programme, efforts to reduce fuel poverty, increase energy efficiency and its new build programme. There will also be kitchens and bathrooms on display.
Also at the event will be free buffet lunch and refreshments, goodie bags, a chance to win lots of prizes including shopping vouchers and a quality air fryer courtesy of the council’s suppliers who have donated the prizes.
