The Scottish Housing Regulator has received recognition for its successful use of different delivery models to deliver phases of its new business intelligence system in a new report by Audit Scotland.

The regulator features as a case study in Audit Scotland’s report. It highlights the regulator’s successful use of fixed and agile models to deliver elements of its new business intelligence system. These include its Social Landlord Portal, Landlord Report and the interactive online Comparison Tool. The regulator’s new systems make it easier for landlords to send it information and let tenants and service users find out about and compare their landlord’s performance.

Michael Cameron, chief executive, said: “I welcome the recognition in today’s Audit Scotland report. And it comes just as all social landlords have finished using the Social Landlord Portal to make their second Annual Return on the Charter. I would like to thank landlords for submitting their returns and the landlords, tenants and service users who have helped us shape, develop and refine our new systems.”

The regulator has also won two prestigious ICT awards at Holyrood’s 2015 Connect ICT Awards which celebrate public sector excellence in information and communications technology. It will publish its next Landlord Reports in August.
