George Buchanan Architects has drawn up designs for 26 terraced and semi-detached houses for private sale at St Mungo’s Church in Tillycairn Drive.

A design statement submitted with the application explained: “The new homes shall be constructed using a palette of high quality materials that enhance the local streetscape.

“Reflecting the typical construction, dominant across the locality the development shall utilise a multi-brick to provide a sense of continuity whilst adding interest and variety.

“Contemporary detailing such as ribbed brickwork panels and feature cills have been incorporated into the design. These details will assist in placemaking and create attractive, modern homes.

“The site benefits from an excellent location to the south of Cardowan Moss, offering extensive woodlands and wildlife habitats.”
