Glen Oaks Housing Association has issued the following statement on the passing of long-serving Board member Marisa Mundt.

It is with sincere regret that Glen Oaks Housing Association reports the death of Marisa Mundt, one of the Association’s long serving Board members. Marisa’s family have advised that her funeral service will take place at 1.45pm on Monday 10 September 2018 in the small Chapel at Linn Crematorium in Glasgow. Marisa’s family advise that everyone is welcome to attend the funeral.

Marisa was very knowledgeable about Glen Oaks Housing Association’s work, having been on its Board for many years. She was the Secretary of the Association. In her time on the Board she was a regular attender at Board and sub-committee meetings, rarely missing a meeting. Marisa was a very loyal supporter of the Association’s work and also the work of the wider housing association movement.

A warm hearted and caring woman, Marisa saw that housing associations make a big difference to the lives of the people that live in our communities. She will be sadly missed by everyone at Glen Oaks and we are sure by the many people who knew her in the housing association sector. The Association’s sincere condolences go to Marisa’s husband Raymond, her sisters Anita and Vanessa and the wider family.
