Graeme enjoyed a long career at Dunedin Canmore, a key provider of housing and related services in Edinburgh, the Lothians and Fife with around 5,500 properties.

Chief executive Ewan Fraser said: “Over many years, Graeme has made a significant and positive contribution to the housing sector in Scotland and at Dunedin Canmore in particular.

“Since 2005, Graeme has successfully overseen our Housing Services Division, including some pioneering work with DWP on direct payments and the introduction of Universal Credit. Graeme is recognised as an expert in housing matters in Scotland.”

He added: “Dunedin Canmore Housing and Enterprise Boards join me in thanking Graeme for his significant contribution to the Association and wish him well in the future.”

Russell left the association with effect from 10 April 2015.

He said: “I thank all my colleagues for their hard work and dedication over many years, they have been a pleasure to work alongside and I wish both them and the Association every success in the future.”
