Green light for nearly 100 new homes in Johnstone
Cruden Homes has gained planning permission for a new development in Johnstone.
The development will comprise 96 detached, semi-detached and terraced houses including eight affordable units. The proposed house types within the site include a mix of three bed semi-detached and terraced units, and four bed detached.
At a meeting of Renfrewshire Council’s planning board on Tuesday, elected members gave the green light to the proposals in line with officers’ recommendations.
Jason Steele, senior land manager at Cruden, said: “Cruden Homes are delighted to obtain a planning consent for this site after a lengthy planning process. We are looking forward to investing in Johnstone and building new homes on this brownfield site.”
