Green light for new homes at former Aberdeen care home
Plans to convert the former Maryfield House care home in Aberdeen into private residential units have been approved.
Developer Cater Group has teamed up with Neil Rothnie Architecture to file a change of use application to deliver into 21 apartments.
The vacant property on Whinhill Road, Ferryhill, was acquired by Cater for an undisclosed sum last year.
Cater spokesperson Ewan Gibson said: “We at Cater are all excited for the build, and conversion challenges ahead, to produce some fantastic premium apartments on such a unique plot. The fact this is in the conservation area provides us such a unique opportunity in a rare location to provide brand new housing, one which we are grabbing with both hands.”
