Hamilton set for £52.6m housing development from Avant Homes
Housebuilder Avant Homes has been granted planning permission to build 197 new homes for a £52.6 million development in Hamilton.
The Highstonehall development is located just 1.5 miles from the centre of Hamilton. As part of the joint project, Avant will deliver a variety of semi-detached and detached three-bedroom homes as well as detached four-bedroom homes on a 22-acre site.
Construction is set to commence immediately, with the first homes planned to be occupied in April 2019.
Avant Homes Scotland managing director, David Knight, said: “We’re very pleased to announce that planning permission has been granted and that construction is now underway at our Highstonehall development in Hamilton.
“Investment in Scotland, and in particular the central belt, is very important to us. Demand for high-quality housing in an excellent location is very high in this area, and we’re committed to ensuring this demand by homebuyers is met.”
