Hat trick of SVQ success for Caledonia Housing Association Modern Apprentices
Caledonia Housing Association has congratulated all three of its Modern Apprentices on achieving their SVQ level 3 qualifications last week.
The Association hosted an afternoon celebration for the Modern Apprentices to celebrate their success with their colleagues, co-workers and importantly a lot of cake.
Julie Cosgrove, Caledonia chief executive, gave a speech on the valuable contribution all three Modern Apprentices had made whilst working and studying for the SVQs along with the importance of organisations embracing the youth workforce.
Rebecca, Ellie & Rory were then each presented with their framed SVQ certificates by Julie to enthusiastic applause by their colleagues.
Julie Cosgrove said: “I am delighted to present Rebecca, Rory & Ellie with their SVQ certificates today. Working across the organisation over the last 15 months all three Modern Apprentices have worked extremely hard, growing as individuals and making a valuable contribution to Caledonia as an organisation. These SVQs are well deserved. Well done everyone.”
Julie added: “Thanks must also go to Quest who provided the SVQ qualification support.”
Rebecca Fraser, HR Modern Apprentice, said of the award: “I am so grateful that I was given the opportunity to gain my SVQ with Caledonia. Now that it has been completed, I can continue to develop my skills in the workplace and build towards my future.”
Rory Milne, operations Modern Apprentice, said: “I’m delighted to have been given the opportunity by Caledonia to do an SVQ Level 3 in Administration. I’ve gained valuable experience over the past 15 months and I’m very excited to what the future holds for me, I’ll be forever grateful to them.”
Ellie Barnet, finance Modern Apprentice, added: “Taking up a Modern Apprenticeship at Caledonia HA was absolutely the right option for me. Not only have I gained my SVQ qualification but I’ve also gain a huge amount of confidence and an understanding of what I actually want to do – something I was completely unsure of before starting at Caledonia. It has been a fantastic and valuable learning curve.”
