Colin Turnbull has been appointed as the new director at Hawthorn Housing Co-operative.

Set up in 1987, the fully mutual housing co-operative is based in the Possilpark area of Glasgow and all of its tenants are members.

The Co-operative focusses all its energies on improving the quality of life of people living in this small pocket of Possilpark and has a track record in providing and co-ordinating a wide range of activities for the community.

Colin said: “The Co-operative has achieved fantastic things in this area, transforming the housing and making it a much better place to live. I am really looking forward to working with the local community to continue this to ensure that Hawthorn is an area where people choose to live and they can fully realise their potential.”
