Hebridean Housing Partnership staff mark chief executive retiral
Board members and staff at Hebridean Housing Partnership (HHP) joined family and friends in the Park Guest House in Stornoway last week to mark the retirement of Angus Lamont as chief executive.
Lesley Baird, chief executive at TPAS and Mary Taylor, chief executive at SFHA were amongst those offering their best wishes to Angus for the future.
Iain Macmillan, chairman of the board, presented Angus with gifts and George Lonie former chairman of the board paid tribute to the work Angus had done over the years particularly in relation to tenant participation.
Angus was one of the longest serving chief housing officers in Scotland with a career spanning 34 years with 30 of these within the Western Isles.
Prior to taking up the post of chief executive at HHP in 2006, Angus was the director of housing at the Comhairle.
Dena Macleod was appointed as HHP’s new chief executive last month.
