Heriot-Watt team aims to make a difference to youth homelessness
A team from the Institute for Social Policy, Housing, Environment and Real Estate (I-SPHERE) at Heriot-Watt University is to raise money and awareness of the issues of youth homelessness.
Inspired by the work of The Rock Trust, the team will participate in the charity’s Ending Youth Homelessness Sleep-Out on November 4.
Beth Watts, Janice Blenkinsopp, Shauna Thompson, Cathy Lord, Philippa Watkin, Adam Stephenson, Harriet Wand and Rebecca Pringle each have a target of £250 to raise for the cause.
2016 marks the 25th Anniversary of the Rock Trust supporting young people in Scotland.
The 2016 Sleep Out will take place from 7pm—7am at Festival Square in Edinburgh.
