A Grade 5 ‘very good’ was awarded across the board following the inspection. This grade applies to the care shown in supporting people to achieve their health and wellbeing outcomes and Eildon’s leadership.

Amanda Miller, Eildon’s director of community services, said: “We are delighted that the high quality of our support services has been recognised by the Care Inspectorate, in particular the positive impact we make to the lives of the people we support, and the quality of our staff and management teams. We are pleased to have improved on the previous grading with no recommendations, requirements or improvements made. 

“Following the last inspection in 2020 where we received an overall Grade 4 - Good, this report is testament to the work of our team. The Inspector noted that people were supported to get the most out of life and to maintain and develop their skills, interests and strengths. Also, our dedicated and professional staff were praised for their warmth, kindness and good humour, which is great to hear.

“This could not have been achieved without the valued input from our team, a totally inclusive effort. I want to express my thanks to everyone involved.”
