Hillcrest shortlisted in Homes for Scotland Awards
Hillcrest has today been announced as a finalist in the supporting organisation category of the Homes for Scotland Awards.
The award is in recognition of the competitive edge they have which attracts private developers and house builders to work with them. When the housing need has never been greater, Hillcrest has ensured they maintain a substantial level of new housing supply by exploring all types of funding mechanisms, procurement models and tenure mixes.
Gill Henry, head of business development at Crudens, said in support of this submission: “The group has worked closely with Hillcrest over the last eight years, to jointly deliver around 350 new affordable homes at developments such as Genesis; the award winning Sailmaker Apartments and our recently completed development at Oaklands.
“Sharing similar values and a commitment to partnering we have been able to combine our skills and experience to successfully develop a highly effective relationship which focuses on a one team approach which adds considerable value to each project. This is testament to Hillcrest’s staff and their vision to deliver high quality sustainable developments.
“As a forward thinking and innovative RSL, Hillcrest always offer a very pragmatic approach and actively help seek solutions. Over the next eighteen months we are delighted that our developments will see the delivery of a further 134 new mixed tenure homes for Hillcrest and look forward to growing our successful relationship.”
The winners of this category and lots more will be announced at an awards ceremony on 20th May 2016.
