Hillhead welcomes Catherine McKiernan as new director
Hillhead Housing Association has appointed Catherine McKiernan as its new director following a unanimous decision by the recruitment panel.
The appointment follows the retirement of the previous director, Stephen Macintyre, and was made after a comprehensive recruitment process that highlighted the high calibre of candidates vying for the role.
Throughout the process, Catherine demonstrated that she had the necessary skills, abilities, and vision to ensure Hillhead continues to deliver a high-quality service to tenants.
Catherine was very pleased to accept the offer. She has worked in a range of senior management roles in the social housing sector, most recently joining Hillhead as depute director in 2019. Ms McKiernan brings this experience with her along with the ability to work with different stakeholders and deliver excellent customer services.
Catherine said: “I am delighted to have the opportunity to lead and develop the services at Hillhead Housing Association.
“It is a great housing association and a great place to work, I will work with the committee and staff team to ensure that we keep it that way for the future.”
