Hjaltland Housing Association has retained its prestigious Platinum Investors in People accreditation.
This recognition signifies the association’s commitment to its people and its continuous efforts to foster a positive and productive work environment.
For nearly 30 years, Investors in People has been recognised internationally as a leading people accreditation. Achieving this award is a significant accomplishment, demonstrating dedication to staff and their development.
Commenting on the award, CEO Bryan Leask said: “I’m delighted that Hjaltland, and our fantastic staff, have been recognised by the highest Investors in People accreditation.
“The success of Hjaltland Housing Association begins and ends with our people; they are the heartbeat of the organisation.
“Without them, we could not deliver our services to customers and have the level of impact we do in Shetland. I’m so proud to have achieved the Platinum accreditation.”
Platinum is the highest level of accreditation possible to achieve in the We invest in people accreditation. It means policies and practices around supporting people are embedded in every corner of Hjaltland. A platinum company means everyone knows they have a part to play in the company doing well and are always looking for ways to improve.
Paul Devoy, chief executive of Investors in People, added: “We’d like to congratulate Hjaltland Housing Association.
“Platinum accreditation on We invest in people is a remarkable effort for any organisation, and places Hjaltland Housing Association in fine company with a host of organisations that understand the value of people.”
Hjaltland Housing Association is a non-profit organisation employing 31 staff, serving the whole of Shetland since 1975 and based at North Ness Business Park in Lerwick.
