Home Group has announced the appointment of Matt Forrest in a new role of executive director for business development.

Matt joins Home Group from Sage Group plc where he had several senior roles in product management, business development, commercial marketing and strategy implementation. He is also a fully qualified Accountant having started his career at KPMG.

Home Group, which manages 55,000 homes in over 200 local authority areas in England, Scotland and Wales, created the role as it continues to deliver its ambitious house building programme and the delivery of its supported housing for those with learning difficulties and mental health requirements.

In his role at Home Group Matt will lead on product development, design and roll out; design and review of strategy and customer experience journey; communications; programme management and customer and partner acquisition.

Matt said: “I am delighted to be joining Home Group at such a challenging and exciting time. As an organisation we serve the needs of a wide group of customers, from potential home owners to those we work closely with in our supported housing schemes. I look forward to becoming part of the fantastic team that is already delivering in these areas.”
