Homes for Good celebrates one year in the South of Scotland with new office launch
Social enterprise lettings agency Homes for Good will tomorrow celebrate its first anniversary in the South of Scotland and the opening of its new office in the heart of Dumfries.
The event will take place at Homes for Good’s Great King Street office in Dumfries town centre.
In early 2024, Homes for Good expanded its award-winning model for the private rental sector into the South of Scotland. This expansion was made possible by funding from the National Lottery Community Fund and support from South of Scotland Enterprise and local stakeholders.
Homes for Good currently manages properties across Dumfries and Galloway and the Borders while embracing numerous opportunities to assist landlords and tenants throughout the South of Scotland region. This includes ‘The Standard’, a multi-million-pound development by Midsteeple Quarter revitalising Dumfries town centre, as well as a diverse range of more rural portfolios.
Homes for Good is dedicated to addressing the acute housing shortage in the South of Scotland and ensuring that renting a home is a positive experience for both landlords and tenants.

Andrew Richards, Homes for Good’s lettings manager for the South of Scotland, said: “Last year marked a strong start for us in the South of Scotland, taking on the management of rural portfolios in the Borders and ‘The Standard’ on Dumfries High Street.
“In 2025, we look forward to helping more landlords and tenants while promoting improved standards in the private rented sector by working with council teams and local stakeholders. Our celebration on 12 February will be a great opportunity for reflection and looking forward to a bright future in the South of Scotland.”
