The Horizon team, who are based in Livingston but manage homes across Scotland, has donated to the Salvation Army’s Christmas Present Appeal.  

The Salvation Army collected 30 gifts for children and young people from Horizon’s headquarters last week. 

Horizon’s interim chief executive officer Gordon Binnie said: “We are delighted to once again support the Salvation Army’s Christmas Present Appeal and play our part to ensure wee ones have presents to open on Christmas day.

“Many families are struggling financially due to the ongoing cost-of-living crisis, which is why Horizon Housing is helping this worthwhile festive appeal.”

Captain Kay Blues, corps officer at Livingston Salvation Army Corps, said: “We are incredibly grateful for the generosity of staff at Horizon Housing Association in donating to our Christmas Present Appeal, helping to bring the joy of Christmas into people’s homes.”
